8 Button Infrared Remote Control Handset for VARILIGHT remote dimmers

VARILIGHT Remote Control Handset
This handset is designed for use with VARILIGHT Remote Control Dimmers. It is an optional extra because the dimmers can be taught to respond
to a spare button on any remote controller. This dedicated controller can operate up to 7 dimmers independently. Button 8 is the “Master Button” (see below).
Before use 2 x AA batteries must be fitted. Batteries are not included.
1. Slide open the back cover in the direction of the arrow on the casing;
2. Place the batteries inside paying attention that you place them the right way round (see diagram
inside controller);
3. Slide the cover back into place.
VARILIGHT Remote Control Dimmers are preset to respond to buttons 1 and 8 on this controller. You can teach a dimmer to respond to a different button from 2 to 7 (follow the instructions on the back of the leaflet accompanying the dimmer) but it will always respond to button 8. If you have several VARILIGHT Remote Control Dimmers, you can control them all simultaneously from button 8 on this controller. (Use this function to turn all the lights on or off after the individual dimmers are set to create a lighting “scene” that you want to repeat).
