The bulbs can be hung from trees, garden umbrellas, pergolas or other garden structures using the attached hook. The bulbs have an on/off switch which also operates the 24 hour timer, setting 1 gives a Dusk till Dawn effect, lit for 6 hours during the night and then switching off for 18 hours during the day, setting 2 sets the bulb to permanently on and setting 3 turns the bulb off. This bulb is IP44 rated making it perfect for outdoor use but it is also equally suited to indoor use. As the bulb is 100% battery operated no wires are needed. Fitted with three cord lengths, 45cm, 55cm and 65cm for a cascade effect.
