Equivalent to an old 50W Halogen Spot Light Bulb, offering similar brightness using around 10th of the power. This MR16 LED Bulb uses 88% less energy than the original old bulb and lasts 30 times longer. Also, unlike standard energy savers, this LED Bulb doesn’t contain mercury and switches on instantly. Thanks to the High Quality, High Brightness SMD LED Chip and Milky Cover this MR16 LED bulb has a smooth wide beam angle, a bright light and is one of the best alternatives to the old 50W MR16 Spot Light Bulb. The bulb has a frosted cover which makes it more attractive as the LED Chips can’t be seen. It runs from AC/DC12V so you will need a LED compatible transformer. Some old halogen transformer can work OK but we can’t guarantee compatibility and it may damage the bulbs and invalidate the warranty. These bulbs can be used with LED compatible dimmable transformers and LED compatible dimmer switches.
